Honestly, it’s difficult to think of positive things to say about your divorce attorney; Mr. McCallum has been my family law attorney now for over 6 years. 6 years, that’s how long that he’s been willing to put up with me and my ex. When I first went to meet with Mr. McCallum, I had false felony accusations against me, and let him know that this would be one of the toughest cases that he would have to deal with in his career (I think we’re in the top 5 now). Through every stage of this painful family law process, he has stood by me, represented me, but even more, advised me to do things that I really did not want to do. Divorce is painful. Often, one wants to do things exclusively out of spite. But he stood by what was right, and what was what was in mine and my children’s best interest. I told him many times that I’d rather give him my money, just so my ex would have to spend more of hers to her attorney; but he would not let me. He talked me down, and convinced me to do what was right, regardless of my emotions. When it comes to my children, he helped me recover them from the false accusations. I have had joint custody of my children for the majority of that time, all thanks to how Mr. McCallum handled our case. I feel that thanks to him and his skills, I now have a healthy relationship with my children.
